How good it would be if you know
about Google’s next update before they launch it so that you can be ready and
have a proactive approach. SEO company boston states that there
are some of the latest changes which are still undergoing AB/ testing and some
of them are slowly setting up into the market.
So, know about these latest and
still developing technologies and changes and prepare for them beforehand:
1.PPC Ads become difficult to
see:
Google has been working from
quite sometime in changing the colour of the PPc ads on the SERPs. It appears
in yellow colour but now they have change it to green colour and this is same
green as Google uses in depicting the paid and organic SERPs, hence making them
difficult to identify.
This change will be beneficial
for Google as more people will click on the ad and it will generate more
revenue. Hence they are working on it. This strategy is under A/B testing and
they will make it live soon if they find it beneficial.
2.More image results:
Google.com is showing tabs instead of
thumbnails at the top of image results as it will help users to enhance their
search results. The new tabs are more space efficient. This means there is more
filtering options visible horizontally across the top, and Google can fit more
actual images at the top of the page because the tabs do not occupy much space.
3.Product specification is right in the
SERPs:
This is known as product info
graph or you can say it as a knowledge graph. SEO company California states
that the knowledge graph pulls all the information from Google Shopping instead
of Wikipedia. Like the Knowledge Graph, the
Product Info Graph appears on the right side of the page on desktop, availing
space that used to be occupied by PPC ads earlier. On mobile devices it appears
at the top of the search page.
4.Drive In Store
Visits:
Google has
integrated an interesting new feature into its shopping results. The new ‘Also
available nearby’ widget was spotted in the US SERPs on a mobile search but it
is reported that it doesn’t appear for all search queries. The feature links
directly to the website of a local retailer so you can imagine how much benefit
it would be to him to integrate this feature.
5.Bring traffic
to your own site from your competitor’s SERPs:
When you search
anything on your desktop then you might have noticed a box ‘People also search
for’ written there. Actually, this box appears as part of the Knowledge Graph
on the right side of the page. On mobile Google has disconnected it from the
Knowledge Graph, as it is placed at the bottom of the page instead, and there
is no Knowledge graph as such there on the screen.
This feature has more importance when it is placed in the main column.
It attracts more clicks and this is very beneficial.
