Those who are not acquainted with the definition, here’s a quick explanation.

A person is buying or has bought a pair of shorts from you. While sending the retargeting emails, you suggest him the shorts and pants from the same brand or different but costing higher than the previous purchase. This is upselling. If you are recommending him complimentary products like shirts, polos, and vests, it is called cross-selling.
