When we talk about Emails that we send to our prospects, the effectiveness of the mail totally depends upon the subject line inserted. There are times when the prospects do not wish to open the entire mail if they are not convinced by the subject line placed at the top of it. If your subject line is great, prospects are motivated to open the message and read the further details, this is how an SEO company representative revealed it. We have been using a lot of subject lines once and over again which has started becoming annoying, puzzling and complex for the prospects. A change in the subject is the need of the hour, and we must actually concentrate on this issue if we really want to attract  prospects towards our services. In case the subject does not inspire them, they do not even open it.  Representatives need to follow a few guidelines, in order to get away with the concern that their mail will be opened by the prospects or not. Some of the overused Email subjects which should not be used at all are detailed below:
1. “EMAIL INVITE”- This subject is the most hazy kind, because there is nothing really mentioned. If the client is being invited to deal with them, to attend a conference, or to attend a business meeting or maybe an event. Perhaps, this is not one of them and is certainly a very vague subject, and prospects will never want to open a mail with such a subject. The prospects can be inquisitive after reading this subject, but there is no assurance that they will read your message.
2. “FREE E-BOOK” – Although this subject line is bang on, but the implementation is quite baffling. Other than your mails, your prospects might be getting a lot of other promotional mails too, with subject lines, ‘free’, ‘sale’ and ‘discount’. But do you think are these of help ? The answer is a big NO, because this is the main reason why buyers ignore half of their messages.
3. “IN CASE YOU MISSED IT” – Not only the prospects, but today  everyone is busy with their lives and each one has an inbox which is overflowing with mails. So there is always a possibility that your prospects might have  checked your message and read it too, but forgot to reply. There is even a chance that he ignored it like the other 100 new messages. It totally depends upon you if you make your subject line catchy, you can certainly grab away your prospects attention. For that you must think of something new every time you send a mail to your prospects.
4. “CONGRATS” – You must always  look for the best time to reach out on your prospects. As soon as you find the perfect event, you must just pull the trigger and spot-on. But ‘congratulations’ will surely not give you acknowledgement. However, if we talk about an SEO company, they always motivate their employees to think of something creative that might captivate prospects. After a trigger event, your prospect might anyway getting “congrats” from every other representative. So, there is no point doing something what the whole world is already doing.
5. “REQUEST”- In a world like this, we cannot expect anyone to do us a favour even if they belong to our family or close relatives. So, how can a representative even think of asking their prospect to do them a favour or request them for something. This would be quite irrelevant. Before a representative sends  “REQUEST” as a subject, he/she must prove out to be credible enough to be trusted.
