We come across a lot of voicemails every day if we are into sales or a company that has a major connection to the sales market. We all know the importance of voicemails as it moves the deals forward. But in case the voicemails turn out badly then it can worsen your relationship with the prospects and it might crash your deal.When it comes to planning an SEO campaign for a top seo company, as a voicemail service, research is critical before investing your energy, time, and money in the SEO campaign.  Some experienced people have shared a few mistakes and how can these be avoided:
 
A Rambling Voicemail- A voicemail needs to be clear, concise and direct. A prospect is likely to observe the length of your voicemail, in case it is less than 25 seconds call, then it might make the prospect feel that you just dialed and hung up. The call should be between 25-40 seconds for the prospect to pay attention to it. Do not ever call your prospect if you are in the middle of the road or in a crowded place because that’s when your voice would not be clear to them and even if they know that it is not the fault of your voice, but this is going to still give a bad image of yours to them. It is mandatory to understand the quirks in your voice, you must know how fast you need to speak and when you must speak clearly. Calling your prospect from a cell phone is a witty option because it gives a sense of urgency. So just get up move around and manage calls from your cell phone to keep things quick and casual at the same time.
 
The Aggravating Fast Follow-Up Voicemail – Representatives make a major mistake which is when they leave the voicemails closely together. It is your goal to inspire a sense of urgency in your prospects but you must not gaffe this urgency with your own. It is human nature to get annoyed if someone continuously pokes you or tells you something. That is the reason why when you leave a series of voicemails just after a few days of your intial email or a phone call your prospects get aggravated with you. This can also get worse in a way that you can make them feel guilty for not being able to get in touch with you sooner. To avoid making them irritated and guilty you must wait after your initial voicemail for atleast 2 weeks. When you regularly make calls to them that becomes annoying. However, when you increase the call rhythm, it clarifies that the issue is heading towards criticality.
 
The ‘Just Following Up’ Voicemail – If you want to create a sense of urgency in your prospect you must not end the call by saying ‘Give me a call back’ because that does not really conclude the call. In order to make the propects actionable, you must ask them a question and then end the call with the phone number in the end. It persuades the prospect to call you in return. It is just not recommended to use messages to take the deal further and rather making use of voicemails for advancing conversations with the prospects is a better option.

Be wise about when you must close the deal so that you have a healthier and longer relationship with your prospects.
