We’ve learn from our childhood that words we use in our daily life are enough to inspire, love or hate someone.

In the business world, sometimes we think that few word will do their magic, but actually they generate the opposite reaction for the intended one. Of course, there are few words which have some apparently positive meaning, but leaders unknowingly uses irresponsibly and hence, they results in creating lots of tension.

You’ll be shocked to know these words, since none among them  have negative meaning. They just restrict us as they overpower our capabilities to become entirely open minded.

Here’s few word that you must stop using right now to become a successful leader, as it can impact negatively on the users. Let’s have a look:

Connection:

Most of the companies let individuals define their business in the marketplace but then they face failure when the time comes to feel the same power at their workplace. For instance, many company want to say that they wants to have a same connection at the workplace, but instead they end up by saying that you will connect with us.

This impact their employees as one way street along with the bound by employment. Many press release services believes that this makes the employees feel that they are not able to achieve their individual objectives and their individual goals are not being respected and they can’t match their personal aim with that of the company’s goal. 

Development:

Whenever we use the word ‘development’, it usually means that we are going to develop what we want to be and how we want a thing to be. What you need to be do, as a leader is to enhance the potential for the people  so that they could serve you and company better. Allow employees to think innovatively, and this will also allow them to think that their efforts are being valued in the company and they are more likely to feel encouraged and create something more better.

Maximizing potential is something one can use instead of development so that people feel better to create something more creatively.

Engagement:

Gone are the days when engagement was considered best. However, engagement is not bad, instead it shows just the initiative. Means that it just start and gets stop at some point. Engagement can never mean that you have taken up the ownership, it just implies that you have just comply and gets involved in it. Intimacy is something that workplace needs. Leaders who don’t use intimacy might be engaged but eventually are disconnected, and not being able deploy the resources and close the gaps of the opportunity.

Success:
Most of us work hard for the same thing. The main issue is that so many businesses didn’t allow people to impact the future of the company as an individual. Even if company is not defining individuals, the success will pushes to keep sowing the same seeds for reaping the advantages in the present instead of future legacies.
